Bluestone Construction was the program manager for the installation of an existing Automated Piece Pick (Broken Case) Distribution System in an existing food distribution warehouse in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Scope of Services
The scope of the project included the removal of existing piece pick rack; parking lot expansion and site renovations; construction of a 35,000 square feet 3-story warehouse addition, construction of new mezzanines and interior insulating partitions; renovation of existing offices and employee service and support areas; construction of building modifications required for the installation of the automated piece pick system; demolition and removal of the existing mechanized conveyor piece pick system and installation of new piece pick rack in the space vacated by removal of the existing system.

All of this was accomplished while the distribution center continued in operation and serviced it’s food store clients.
